Denon DJ Prime 4, an all-in-one standalone DJ system with an integrated 10″ touchscreen that’s designed for professional DJs wishing to perform without a laptop computer.
The multicore processor powered Prime 4 makes your entire music collection available, transparently connecting you to your performance with advanced features including 13 DJ effects, sweep & filter effects, and 8 performance trigger pads per deck, which allows you to live remix whole tracks and beat juggle with super-responsive hot-cue control, as well as split bars and beats with quantize-locked rolls, slicer and advanced looping.
The rugged meal enclosure is built to handle the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. Two responsive touch-capacitive jog wheels feature the DJ brand logo or playing track artwork, and the adjustable, 10-inch touchscreen allows you to perform as a standalone. The Prime 4 provides four USB inputs, a single SD input, and an under-panel 2.5″ built-in SATA drive bay for quick and easy library and track selection. Plus, any source can be used to record a full set. With USB Keyboard support for optimized track browsing and playback facilities for uncompressed audio formats (FLAC, ALAC, WAV), Prime 4 allows you to call up your entire music collection via connectivity that guarantees immediate, hassle-free access to your library.
The rear panel includes a multitude of inputs and outputs including RCA line-level inputs for all four decks. Inputs three and four feature phono switch inputs with ground lugs for turntable support. Each channel on the mixer offers gain control and a dedicated 3-band EQ plus effect 1 and 2 selectors. For outputs, the Prime 4 provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA master L/R. Booth outputs are balanced XLR as well as the Zone output, which allows you to send your performance or a separate mix to a different room with dedicated gain and EQ control. Additionally, there are two high-performance combo microphone inputs, each with dedicated gain, 3-band EQ, and echo effects.
Use Prime 4’s StagelinQ connection to easily create impactful, visually dynamic lighting and video scenes via Denon DJ’s partnerships with Soundswitch, Timecode and Resolume.
